Artist Darren Johnston continues his residency at the Zaha Hadid Architects Gallery presenting a special exhibition and immersive live performances. An opportunity for audience to see Phase 1 of this new collaborative project with Zaha Hadid Architects (ZHA).
Darren’s work explores the intersection between installation art, design and immersive experiences. His work realigns ideas of virtuality into physical reality, using the work of ZHA to sculpt metaverse structures into real world interventions. The series of collaborative pieces will include performances informed by ‘Architecting the Metaverse’ a collaboration between ZHA and Refik Anadol, and a bespoke piece in the ZHA TechLab made possible with support by ABB Robotics.
